Fits: Siding that is still structurally sound and only needs to look new again.
Siding
Not every exterior needs new siding. If yours is sound, exterior paint can make it look new; if it is failing, vinyl replaces it with siding that never needs paint; and James Hardie fiber cement will not burn and stands up to hail and pests. We check what is behind the siding first, because that is where rot hides.

Three ways to update an exterior
What each one includes and when it fits. The assessment tells you which one your walls actually need.
The flagship product
Fiber cement is noncombustible, with a Class A fire rating when tested to ASTM E84. Vinyl melts and wood feeds a fire; Hardie boards do neither.
Thick fiber cement resists damage from hail and windblown debris, which matters in a metro where storms write most of our work orders.
James Hardie manufactures for the climate the siding will live in, including the freeze-thaw swings a Nebraska exterior takes every winter.
Fiber cement holds little appeal for pests, unlike wood siding.
ColorPlus Technology applies multiple coats of finish in the factory, cured layer by layer, so the color resists fading, chipping, and cracking longer than field paint.
Hardie Plank lap siding carries the deep wood-grain look of traditional siding without the repainting cycle wood demands.
These are the manufacturer's published product claims; what we add is the install. Fiber cement is heavy, unforgiving of sloppy cuts, and specific about clearances and flashing, so the crew matters as much as the board.
The Rocket Exterior Assessment
Siding is the layer you see. Behind it sit the weather barrier, the sheathing and the framing, and water that gets past the siding does its damage there, out of sight. A wall keeps water out only when all of it works together: the housewrap, the flashing, the detailing around windows, the way water is led off the wall, the fastening, and the vents. So before we recommend anything, we look at the whole wall.
The Rocket Exterior Assessment
A free look at the whole outside of your building by the contractor who fixes all three. You see every problem we find, you get it in writing, and if nothing needs doing we say so.
Roof, siding and gutters, looked at together by one contractor that installs all three, so nothing gets skipped because it is somebody else’s trade.
We photograph everything we flag, by drone or by phone, and the photos are yours to keep. You never have to send us pictures first.
What we found, what fixing it takes, and what it costs, written down. Where there is a real choice, like paint, vinyl or James Hardie, you see each option.
If nothing needs doing, we tell you so, and that is the end of it. No pressure and no obligation.
Built right. Protected right.
A walk-around before anything comes off the wall.
The siding, trim and wrap arrive on site.
Landscaping and everything near the walls gets protected.
Down to the sheathing, so the wall can be seen.
The sheathing gets checked for rot and water damage.
Damage behind the siding is fixed, not covered over.
Housewrap and flashing go on before the siding does.
The new siding goes up over the weather barrier.
Corners, wraps, soffit and the finishing pieces.
The site is cleaned and the work is checked line by line.
These are easiest to add during a re-side, while the old siding is already off.
Every finished siding job goes down this list line by line. Each line is marked pass or fail, a fail is written up with what is wrong, and the installer who did the work is named on the sheet.
Repairs and matches, not just full wraps. Storm damage rarely takes a whole wall. We repair and replace damaged sections, match existing siding where a full replacement is not needed, and document storm damage for your insurance claim the same way we do on roofs. Every job carries our warranty-guaranteed workmanship on the labor, on top of the manufacturer's own product warranty.
Replacing siding and gutters at the same time? The two jobs share scaffolding, crew, and cleanup, and the gutter line is off the wall anyway. See gutter installation and replacement.
