Roofing, Siding and Gutters Across Nebraska
Yes, Rocket Roofing General Contractor works outside the Omaha metro. From our Omaha headquarters we take roof replacements, storm repairs, siding, gutters and commercial roofs across Nebraska, from Lincoln and Fremont to Grand Island, Kearney and beyond. Call (402) 291-8888 and you hear on the first call whether and when we can schedule your project.
Every project here runs from our headquarters: 5634 S 85th Cir Ste 204, Omaha, NE 68127. Call (402) 291-8888.
Do you work outside the Omaha metro?
Yes. Rocket Roofing General Contractor takes roofing, siding, gutter and commercial roofing work across Nebraska, not only in the metro. The first call settles whether and when we can schedule it: the answer depends on the project and the distance, and you hear it before anything is booked.
The process is the same one we run in Omaha. A free inspection, with a drone where a roof is steep or high, photographs of what we find, a written estimate, and the install by our crews with the same manufacturer and workmanship warranties.
Which Nebraska cities have their own page?
The cities we work in most have a page of their own, with the places we know and the questions people there ask: Omaha, Papillion, Bellevue, Elkhorn, La Vista, Ralston, Millard, Gretna, Lincoln. Everywhere else in the state, including Fremont, Grand Island, Kearney, Norfolk, Columbus and Hastings, this page is the one, and the phone is the fastest way to find out about your address.
What should a contractor from another city have in Nebraska?
A contractor working in Nebraska registers with the Nebraska Department of Labor, and you can ask for the registration before you sign. Cities add their own rules on top: Omaha licenses contractors and requires a permit for roof work over two squares, and Lincoln publishes its own re-roof policy. Ask whoever you hire which permit your city needs and who pulls it.
Our guide to checking a roofer in Nebraska lists what to ask for and where to verify each answer.
Does a storm claim work the same everywhere in Nebraska?
Yes. The Nebraska Insured Homeowners Protection Act is state law, so it applies in every town: no contractor may rebate, waive or pay any part of your insurance deductible, and a contract paid from insurance proceeds has to carry the Act's notice. Your policy decides what is covered and when you have to file.
Our Nebraska roof insurance claims guide walks through the whole process.

Questions from outside the metro
Is there an extra charge for an inspection outside Omaha?
It depends on the distance and the project, and Rocket Roofing General Contractor tells you on the first call, before anything is scheduled. Call (402) 291-8888.
Can you inspect my roof without me being there?
Often, yes: an exterior and drone inspection does not need anyone home. We send the photos and the findings, and we walk you through them by phone before you decide anything.
Do you install LeaFree outside the metro?
Ask on the first call. Rocket Roofing General Contractor is a certified LeaFree installer and our own crews put it in, and getleafree.com covers how it works.
